"Sway" - Blue bowl

A beautiful turquoise blue bowl, perfect as an ornament or a plant holder.
It was thrown on the pottery wheel from white earthenware clay.
The bowl was then first bisque fired at 1125C degree (cone 01), then a combination of layered blue glazes and cobalt oxide were applied and fired again at 1040 C.
The decoration and colours of the bowl reflect my love of the sea and the luxurious approach of the art nouveau style.
