Beautiful turquoise blue textured bowl thrown on the pottery wheel then hand decorated with individually applied dots of clay.
The bowl was wheel-thrown from white earthenware clay then first bisque fired at 1125C degree (cone 01), before a combination of layered blue glazes and cobalt oxide were applied and fired again at 1040 C.
The decoration and colours of the bowls reflect my love of the sea and the luxurious approach of the art nouveau style.

Hand wash only. Please note the inside glaze in these moon jars is slightly porous therefore they are not recommended for standing water.
