Beautiful handmade turquoise and aquamarine blue moon jar (round shaped) bowl with golden-bronze rim.
It was thrown on the pottery wheel from white earthenware clay, fired first at 1125 C for durability and strength, then glazed with a combination of layered glazes and re-fired at 1040 C. The surface is smooth and shiny, and the colour is reminiscent of the sea.
The cobalt blue 'lifeline' running across the surface is like a heartbeat.
Size: Width: (at widest point) 14 cm x Height: 12 cm
To protect the shine of the glazes I recommend that you hand wash these bowls.
