A beautiful smooth aquamarine blue bowl, perfect as an ornament or holding potted plants (please be aware that water will mark the inside of the bowl). It was thrown on the pottery wheel from white earthenware clay, then first bisque fired at 1125C degree (cone 01), after which a combination of layered blueglazes and cobalt oxide were applied and fired again at 1040C.
The decoration and colours of the bowl were influenced by the seaside as well as the luxurious colours and approach of the art nouveau style.
