Beautiful turquoise-teal blue textured bowl thrown on the pottery wheel then hand decorated with individually applied dots of clay.
The bowl was wheel-thrown from white earthenware clay then first bisque fired at 1125C degree (cone 01) for strength and durability, before a combination of layered blue glazes and cobalt oxide were applied and fired again at 1040 C.
The decoration and colours of the bowls reflect my love of the sea and the luxurious approach of the art nouveau style.
