Beautiful small tactile jade green and gold decorated bowls, thrown on the pottery wheel then hand decorated with individually applied clay dots (tiny spikes) or hand carved for texture and interest. The bowls were made from white earthenware clay initially bisque fired at 1125C (Cone 02), then glazed with shiny jade green and golden bronze glazes to create a highly decorative piece. It is inspired by the beautiful embellishments of the art nouveau style and the calming colour of green.
