Beautiful handmade turquoise & aquamarine blue bowl thrown on the pottery wheel from white earthenware clay, then decorated with added clay dots for texture and pattern. It was fired at 1125C for strength before a combination of layered blue glazes and cobalt oxide was added, then re-fired.
It is inspired by the beautiful embellishments of the art nouveau style and the colours of the sea.
