Beautiful tactile handmade turquoise blue bowl with hand decorated patterns and textures.
The bowl was thrown on the pottery wheel from white earthenware clay, then decorated with clay dots for added texture and pattern.
It was first fired at 1125 C for durability and strength, then glazed with a combination of layered glazes and cobalt oxide before being re-fired at 1040 C.
It is inspired by the beautiful embellishments of the art nouveau style and the colours of the sea.

Hand wash only. Please be aware that due to the nature of the textured decoration the bowl might be slightly sharp to the touch.
